Duke Nukem Arena (also known as Duke Nukem Arena 3D) is another adaptation of the Duke Nukem 3D style of first person shooter to cellphones. The game was released in 2007. It combines the single player only Duke Nukem Mobile 3D with a set of online-compatible multiplayer modes for up to four players where you can play as Duke, a Paratrooper or a Pig Cop. It also added three difficulty levels. A new survival game mode called Nukem Dead, pitting Duke against a series of incoming monsters. You can also battle AI-controlled monsters in the ten Arena deathmatch levels. The game performs admirably, but the core concept of a first person shooter on a mobile phone is something few are willing to accept.
