Duke Nukem Forever, also known as Duke Nukem Forever 2013, is a mod for Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition that was released April 29, 2013. The mod is based on early prototypes of the 2011 video game Duke Nukem Forever, as revealed through promotional trailers. The mod features a new episode with new weapons, graphics, sound effects, music, and enemies. The EDuke32 source port is required for the mod to work and is included in the mod's ZIP file.

On November 22, 2013, an updated version of the mod was released with a new episode featuring three new levels, new music, and a new sprite for the Shotgun. The updated version requires the files from the original version to run.

Weapons

In Duke Nukem Forever, the Chaingun Cannon is replaced by the M-16 Assault Rifle. The mod includes all other weapons from Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition, but it features new sprites for the Shotgun, RPG, and Shrinker.
