The Shield is a scrapped Duke Nukem Forever weapon.

Description

The Shield appears to be a glass riot shield that would protect the player from enemy attacks. The 2001 trailer shows it absorbing quite a few hits, showing that it would be pretty strong.

It was also able to be used by the Mutated Human.

Fate

The Shield appears to have been completely removed, as there is no sign of it in the 2011 footage.
